Information We Collect
Personal Identifiable Information (PII): When you sign up, we collect your full name, date of birth, phone number, email, and shipping address to provide services and deliver medications.
Medical Information: During consultations and questionnaires, you provide medical history, symptoms, lifestyle habits, and prescriptions which are stored in a HIPAA-compliant system.
Payment Information: All payment details are processed securely by Stripe. Jently never stores your credit card number, CVV, or banking information.
Technical Data: We collect non-identifiable data such as browser type, device, IP address, and cookies to enhance user experience, detect fraud, and improve security.
HIPAA Compliance Statement: Jently complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and protects all Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with federal and state privacy laws.
Data Breach Notification: In the event of a data breach affecting your Protected Health Information, Jently will notify you as required by law, including the steps being taken to mitigate the breach.
Data Retention & Deletion: Medical records are securely retained for a minimum of seven (7) years or longer as required by state law. Requests for deletion will be honored where legally permitted.
Minors’ Privacy (COPPA Compliance): Jently’s services are intended for individuals 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from anyone under 18 without verified parental consent.
How We Use Information
To provide licensed telehealth consultations and issue prescriptions when medically appropriate.
To process and fulfill orders including payment authorization, prescription preparation, and medication delivery.
To send appointment reminders, refill notifications, and account updates through SMS/email.
To comply with telehealth regulatory requirements and maintain patient medical records as mandated by law.
Data Protection Measures
All data is encrypted both in transit (using SSL/HTTPS) and at rest.
Only authorized, licensed providers and trained support staff have access to sensitive data.
We do not share, sell, or rent your personal information with any third-party marketing companies.
Customer Rights
You may request access to your medical records anytime.
You have the right to correct or update your details.
You may request data deletion where legally permitted.
